Villa Marisol - Area

Nearest golf course is Algorfa, only a 5 minute drive and you will find it has all the facilities needed for a good round of golf. If you go further out you will find a few more course within a 50 minute drive, these course are also ideal for both amateur and professional golfers.

Catral and Dolores are the two towns that sit either side of the villa, the culture and tradition of these towns is typically Spanish, English is spoken in these parts. Restaurants, cafe bars, English restaurants are also in the town serving good food.

Both towns have markets stalls, but the days differ between them each week, if you booked a car for hire then it is a 2 minute drive to the big supermarkets nearby which if walking would take along time.

Guadamar is the nearest beach, white sand and crystal water, lifeguards are there for your safety during the summer months. Various water sports like jet ski, wind surfing, water skiing, beach volley and many more are part of the entertainment. Javea is close by with mainstream beach resorts and shops.

Driving on the Autopista A7 with take to Murcia and the Costa Almeria, further on you would reach the Costa del Sol passing through Granada. Barcelona is a 4 hour journey and Madrid towards the North West is about 3 hours.
